Perth now boasts the largest sushi train in the region, measuring an impressive 114 meters and seating 126 patrons. The beloved Japanese restaurant, Sushi Jiro, has unveiled its first Perth location at the bustling Westfield Carousel shopping centre. This new eatery seamlessly marries traditional and modern sushi-making techniques, offering freshly prepared sushi and à la carte options delivered by both sushi trains and sushi robots.

CEO Anna Kasman shared her excitement, stating, “Opening our first Perth Sushi Jiro Sushi Train has been a long time coming, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be on this side of the country. This is a significant milestone in our national expansion.”

A Prime Location

Westfield Carousel was chosen for its strategic location, attracting a diverse and large customer base. Kasman emphasized, “It offers excellent visibility and accessibility, making it the perfect spot to introduce Sushi Jiro to a new market.”

Following the successful launch of the largest sushi train in the southern hemisphere in Brisbane, Sushi Jiro plans further expansions across Australia, including more Perth locations. Kasman added, “We anticipate a very positive response from the Perth community.

In warmer climates, people flock to sushi because it’s refreshing and healthy. We can’t wait to see happy Sushi Jiro diners at Westfield Carousel and continue our expansion throughout Perth.”
