In an impressive show of form McLaren dominates drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri topped the timesheets during the third and final practice session at the Hungarian Grand Prix. The pair managed to outpace Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, setting the stage for an exciting qualifying session.

Practice Session Highlights

The final practice session saw drivers making their last adjustments ahead of the critical qualifying round. After a disrupted second practice session on Friday, where Charles Leclerc’s crash brought out the red flags, the drivers were eager to maximize their track time in FP3.

Early Laps: Verstappen was among the first to set a timed lap, despite reporting understeer and lack of rear grip in his RB20.

Mid-Session Surge: The action intensified as drivers took to the track on soft tires. Norris led the way with a lap time of 1m 16.931s by the session’s midpoint.

Final Push: As the session neared its end, Norris improved his time to 1m 16.098s, securing the fastest lap. Piastri followed closely, just 0.044s behind, while Verstappen settled for third.
