To celebrate World Chocolate Day, Cadbury is unveiling its new smoother chocolate experience with the Cadbury Dairy Milk Velvet block. This new line boasts a “more chocolatey” milk chocolate block with 40 percent more cocoa and 25 percent more milk than its classic counterpart.

“Cadbury Dairy Milk Velvet is for milk chocolate lovers seeking a smoother, more chocolatey taste but with the same quality they know and expect from Cadbury Dairy Milk,” said Katrina Watson, senior marketing manager at Mondelēz International ANZ.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Velvet blocks will be available in two varieties: Milk Chocolate and Milk Chocolate with Hazelnut. Chocolate enthusiasts can get their hands on these new treats nationwide starting July 29.
The 150-gram block will have a recommended retail price (RRP) of $6, roughly the same price as the 180-gram traditional Dairy Milk blocks at supermarkets Coles and Woolworths. This launch follows Cadbury’s collaboration with Peters Ice Cream two months ago, introducing the Cadbury Dairy Milk Hazelnut Tub. This addition to the supermarket freezer section offers yet another irresistible dessert option.

“Hazelnuts are an Aussie favourite,” said Andrea Hamori, Peters Ice Cream’s head of marketing. “It’s a booming flavor, whether it be as a popular spread or featured in a chocolate block.”
With these new Velvet blocks, Cadbury aims to elevate the chocolate experience, promising a smoother, richer taste for milk chocolate lovers everywhere.
