Forecasts a heavy rainfall predicted across Australia Central and Eastern in the coming days. Clouds are already forming over central Australia, and the heavy rain is expected to move east starting Sunday July 07, 2024.
Weatherzone has forecasted that this downpour could deliver up to an entire season’s worth of rain. The rain is being driven by an unusually strong high-pressure system to the south of Australia, which will funnel moisture-laden air over the continent. This moisture, coming off unusually warm seas to the east, will collide with a cut-off upper-level low-pressure system, resulting in unseasonably heavy rain across central and eastern Australia.
